Privacy policy

Your account: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.

Your site: the photos, words, services, prices, reviews and contact details you add. Anything you publish is public on your site, by design.

Enquiries: when a visitor uses the enquiry form on your site, we keep what they send (their name, email or phone, the date and service they asked about, and their message) and show it to you.

Payments: Razorpay handles every payment. We keep the order, the amount and what it bought; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

Usage: simple counts of visits to sites and pieces of work, and which emails we've sent you. We don't sell advertising or use third-party ad trackers.

Our team sometimes builds a website as a gift for a creator, using only business details they've shared publicly (such as an Instagram business profile or a Google Maps listing). A gift site sits at a private link and is never shown to search engines. Its link closes 21 days after it's made if it's never opened, or 7 days after it's first opened, and an unclaimed gift's photos and details are deleted within a week of that. If you receive one and don't want it, one tap deletes it with its photos, and we won't contact you again.

To run your site and dashboard, deliver enquiries, take payments, keep accounts secure, and send you emails about your site: welcome and setup tips, results, and reminders before a pack ends. Tips can be switched off from any email; billing notices always go.

When you arrive through another creator's invite link or site, we remember that for 30 days in a small cookie, so the right person gets their reward. We also remember your light or dark mode choice on your own device.

A few trusted services process data for us, only to run Showbook: Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Razorpay (payments) and, when you use AI writing features, Anthropic (to draft captions and descriptions). When our team builds gift sites in bulk, Apify fetches the public business details involved.

We don't sell your data, and we only share it beyond these services if the law requires it.

Your site and its data are kept while you have an account, including while a site is paused, so it can come back as it was. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your site, photos and enquiries, keeping only payment records we're required to hold for tax and accounting.

You can see, correct or delete most of your data yourself from your dashboard. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account, and you can raise a concern about how we handle it.
